Hi, I'm Tomeka and i live in Houston. I'm new to the site but not new to the rich dad teachings.  I read the book a couple of years back and haven't started because of Fear which now i know mean False Evidence Appearing Real.  I just recently had a baby girl and her father left me for another woman which left me really depressed. Anyway, i'm ready to get my life back and give my children a better life.  I want to live and be free of financial stress wondering how am i gonna do this and how am i gonna pay for that.  I hope to become financially free through the encouragement and knowledge i gain from other women through this site and soon to be able to teach and empower the next woman.   I haven't purchased any property yet but just filling my self with knowledge through reading the books again but i'm looking forward to the thrill of becoming financially free and the happiness it will bring in the lives of my children

My name is Yolande.  I'm in the 4th Qtr. of life.  I am a licensed counselor in Mobile and I truly love the Lord and I believe that he wants us to prosper and be financially independent.  I believe that learning is life long. I read Rich Dad Poor Dad a couple yrs. ago.  Then I read Rich Woman this year after seeing Kim on a television show.  I've also read "The Intelligent Investor" and "Total Money Makeover" etc. In 2000 I rented out my home and was getting a cash flow of over $100. a month and sold the home. I wish I hadn't done that but we all learn from our mistakes. I currently invest in a 403 (B), IRA and am enrolled in a FSA.  I plan to add real estate foreclosures to my investments.  I feel like I'm playing catch up because I plan to retire in 10 yrs.  Those of you who are much younger are at an advantage, but it's never to late to become financially independent.  We can learn a lot from each other.

I am new to this all and I am not sure if I am posting in the correct forum. My name is Joy and as I said I am new to this ALL....from first time investor to posting. I am looking for a group in the South Jersey area.  I am trying to become financially independent but  because of some "bad" debt that my husband recently got us into my credit rating is bad! I know, I know, I should have been aware of what my husband was or wasn't doing to get us where we are now, its called trust and I trusted he was handling things. Anyway, now here I am, I was just recently told that I could no longer use a particular charge card even though it was in my name only because of the bad credit standing that my husband is in. I was shocked! Though, I am now looking at it as a blessing to have taken the card away - I had no balance on it.  By the way, you all must be wondering how I found out that we are in the pickle we are in. I took advantage of the "free credit check" you see from time to time....I had all 3 credit agencies do a free check. That is how I found out that we were at least 2 months behind on a car payment and worse yet, one month behind on a home equity line of credit from a Credit Union. So with this all being said, please, someone tell me how do I - MYSELF - become independent financially with this looming over my head? How do I and only I get credit in my own name without his debt stepping in, short of a divorce .

I was looking for the Cashflow game to give my family for Christmas when I discovered Rich Woman.  I contacted another Realtor I work with and we are starting a study group here in the Reno area in Feb.

 My name is Jessi Broadhead. Pleased to make your acquaintance. I'm a mom of thre beautiful teenage girls, a wife and a business woman. I work for Michelle & Mark Collard. I help manage a couple of their companies while trying to build my own. Let see, I started reading Robert's books about 10 years ago. I think I have read about 75% of them. I have read Rich Woman- I think it has been almost 3 years. I bought in April at a conference and it just come out the month before.

 I am really excited too about having a place to come and share with like minded women. There are two different Rich Woman groups I have attended or participate in and I must say. It makes a world of difference when you interact with women who are in the same boat as you.

 My name is Jessica I am a mom to two toddlers and a stay at home mom. I am authoring a book Embracing birth. I am putting a plan together to purchase two local birth centers and turn it into a national business. My husband flew out of fl to ma this week to look at  a 116 unit multi family.  We are looking at anything we can. We have no money and bad credit and we know we can get on the fast track. We have more books in the past two months than our entire lives. I read one book a day.  I have found people willing to give me money to partner with me online and in person. I have met people willing to show me how its done at the auctions and have learned how to do short sales and wholesales my bandit signs are being printed now!
