So, do you live in South Africa? I use an American Company called Apmex, www.apmex.com to buy my precious metals.  Not sure if they will ship internationally but worth a look.  I've had nothing but great experiences with this company.

Most of the banks also sell gold and silver and you can get 100% pure gold and silver. so just  ask your bank if they are into this or not?

Would silver be a good place to invest a retirement fund?  My husband just changed jobs and has  a little over $2000 in his retirement fund.  We were thinking of investing in silver with that. I would love any advice that you have to offer on this.
