My husband and I were recent homeowners unfortunely we've lost our home due to foreclosure in the state of Florida.The real estate market there was booming until the back to back hurricanes and numerous amount of default mortgages on sub-prime loans burst the bubble..We put approximately 40k into this 4br 2ba 2car w/ fenced yard pre-foreclosure home (how ironic, we went into foreclosure on a pre-foreclosure) which we brought for 197k our loan amount was 158k with a 9.9% interest rate it was in the perfect area.(I know bad deal) .in Kissimmee, Fl..new homes were being built plus the market looked promising until the house values began to declined after we refinanced our home and had a drastic jump in our mort payment which we could not afford..My husband and I tried to do the short-sale w the bank but noone was buying  b/c everyone was going into bankruptcy or foreclosure around us not even investors dare to touch them. It was like out of 6 homes 3 were in default.What we eventually decided to do was to move to Charlotte, NC were we are currently residing..in a studio hotel with our three small children all under the age of six with one child with a serious heart problem I know that things will be better for us if we just hold on to our faith in Yahweh he we help us pick up the pieces..I hope this will help someone in distress of losing their home you can b a success just have faith and keep pursuing your dreams and goals..Shalom and Yahweh (GOD) bless.
