Hi Diane, I am also 60 and just getting started on my financial education. I was very inspired after reading Rich Woman and Robert's books too. I have no savings and only one IRA, self employed with little to expect from Social Security. I'm going through divorce but since I am blessed with good health and a small gift shop I own, then I feel extremly blessed. I have been reading Automatic Millionaire, by David Bach. Its really worth reading. Although his approach to becoming a millionaire is different than Kim and Robert's,it has given me new and valuable insights. I am learning about investing too. I surf the net when its not busy at work and I joined a Cashflow 101 Meet-up Group. It starts in June and I will learn what I can. My first goal is to save $10,000 by Jan, 2009. I will be using my income tax return for some of this. I guess it boils down to save up and just make the first move. In the mean time, get all the "financial education" you can find. There is a wealth of information on the web and its free. ITS NOT TOO LATE! I refuse to let the government or my children support me when I can't work and after 3 failed marriages, I don't want to depend on a man either. Be well, Penny
