I think it's like return on investment.
In other words, the amount of money you get back (in cash) divided by the initial investment, and then multiplied by 100 to get it in a percentage

I keep seeing the phrase "cash-on-cash return"... but I don't have a clue how to figure it out?
How do you determine the multiplier?
