I was extremely inspired by this book until I started questioning the prices of properties given as examples. $100,000.00 for a house and $300,000 for a set of units! Looking in the paper today I couldn't even find a house/single unit for under $200,000.00. Average of $350,000. We are looking at over a million for units!

Where do you live? I would look into buying some RE with 5% down, and make sure you are get some equity and cash flow. Depending on where you live this could be easily done.
