I wouldn't know which was necessarily better, but I've been using Ameritrade for some time and really like it. I'm trying to hopefully invest a small amount of money in the next week in some stocks - still have to do some research...

I just recently trying to start getting involved in buying stocks. Is it better to buy directly from the company or use a program like Ameritrade, etrade or sharebuilder.
